Tiffany was determined
to ride her Honda CBR 900- RR even while undergoing chemo treatments,
she was not going to let cancer control or eliminate her love of
riding sportbikes. The very unique way the author has with written
words describes to the reader what takes place in the family when
a daughter is dealing with a life threatening disease. The book
is well written and shows a very touching and emotional side of
father and daughter that to date has not been written about in such
a poignant and certainly honest manner.
This book is most definitely
going to shatter the myths and perceptions about men not having
emotions. The unique way the author blends current time events taking
place with the many memories of events that father and daughter
participated in from her infancy to her becoming a young woman indicate
the love and respect each had for the other.
The book will have you
laughing at some of the events and yet a few pages later tears might
be forming, then happier events unfold to the reader. Even though
she lost her battle with melanoma the book is not about tragedy
but how well this young woman lived her life and met every challenge
she faced in a direct and unyielding manner. |
